‘Black Country Disco’

The companion book for Tom Aspaul’s debut album

Polari have designed Black Country Disco: The Book, which documents the creative process behind the first album from musician Tom Aspaul. A rich coffee table book with holographic silver foil detailing on the cover, and featuring eighty images of the artist and behind-the-scenes photographs.

In 2020, Tom Aspaul released his debut album, Black Country Disco. Having written songs for artists including Kylie Minogue, Becky Hill, Snakehips, Celeste, Aspaul returned to the West Country where this album was conceived and produced exploring a personal journey of relationship breakdown and the concept of home. This accompanying book was published alongside the release of the double album Black Country Disco and Black Country Discothèque.
